The aim of the wheelchair rally is to give wheelchair and mobility users a chance to raise funds for other wheelchair users in Sierra Leone.  The challenge will be for this target group of individuals to complete a lap around the campus at UCP Marjon on the 13th June 2010.  The course is square and on tarmac roads.  There will be a few obstacles and challengers on the way round.  The course will be marked out with safety stewards at all key points.  The fund raising event will be opened by a Para Olympic competitor.  Is our aim to attract a few Para Olympic competitors past and present to the event. 

At the same time we will have a range of demonstration sports available for wheel chair users to see and possibly try out.
