Wheelchair Rally Information Page

The aim of the wheelchair rally is to give wheelchair and mobility users a chance to raise funds for other wheelchair users in Sierra Leone.  The challenge will be for this target group of individuals to complete a lap on the Hoe, Plymouth on the 4th June 2011.  There will be a few obstacles and challengers on the way round.  The course will be marked out with safety stewards at all key points.  The fund raising event will be opened by a Para Olympic competitor.  It is our aim to attract a few Para Olympic competitors past and present to the event.

At the same time we will have a range of demonstration sports available for wheel chair users to see and possibly try out.

The day is about raising £10,000 for wheel chair users in Sierra Leone but at the same time providing a unique opportunity for wheelchair users.
